Gerd Skant started his riding career on the BMX bike when he was 12 years old. Contests all over Europe followed. Some years ago, he swapped the non-suspended 20-inch for the Enduro mountain bike – with great success: In 2016, he became the first ever Austrian Enduro Champion at Biketember Festival, Saalfelden Leogang, Austria. He also won the SloEnduro race at Kamnik, Slovenia, and had loads of further podiums in the 2016 SloEnduro series, finishing 2nd in the overall ranking. He was also happy about his 31st place at his first attempt at Megavalanche Alpe d’Huez. The man from Styrian capital Graz always spreads positive vibes and owes his success to hard training, talent and courage – the best qualities for further success!
