Ryan Regez is a master of skicross, and for his supreme talent on the burms and bumps, and because he’s a damn fine fellow, TSG made him a fully-fledged member of the team. Born and breed in Wengen, Switzerland, Ryan first clicked in to his skis age two but it wasn’t for another 18 years until he put his pedal to metal in skicross. “It started with some fun races with my friends,” reckons Ryan wryly, but it wasn’t long before he realized he had “talent” and a taste for victory and amassed an impressive haul of precious medals, including an Olympic gold and six gold, four silver and four bronze at World Cups. Not bad for what started out as a bit of fun. If you’ve had the pleasure of watching one of Ryan’s POV clips on his Youtube channel you’ll have worked out that he only has one gear, and that is fast forward, which is why TSG kits him out with body protection, Goggle Four to keep his eyes on the prize and a Gravity Helmet when not racing. We also made him a custom race helmet to comply with those annoying FIS rules: “Swiss brand, Swiss rider, the perfect fit,” jokes Ryan, when we asked him what was best thing about riding TSG. But the truth is we keep him going fast downhill and skating a pump track safer, harder and for longer… What more can you ask from a relationship with a protection sponsor?
